Tori Lord grew up on stage in Toronto playing lead roles in several national theater productions, then as a young voice in Canada’s top choirs, joining Celine Dion on her Let’s Talk About Love tour. Tori now emerges as a fresh voice in pop, aligning with some of Canada’s top talent to shape her sound.
Working with acclaimed producer Marty Martino (Down With Webster) and collaborating with songwriter Theo Tams (Canadian Idol winner), Tori has honed a style that blends her choral background and love of harmony with sleek, modern pop. Guided by mentor Rob Wells (Justin Bieber – “Baby”), she crafts music that is both vulnerable and fierce — often referring to herself as a crusader navigating modern-day love. She does so through confessional lyrics, lush vocal textures, and piano-driven melodies.
Her debut single Never Be arrives October 10, introducing an artist who pairs timeless vocal roots with a sharp, contemporary edge.
